Pateley Bridge is an all-year round centre for walkers, fishermen, country lovers in fact, anyone who likes to get away for a while from the rat race to enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Although Pateley Bridge is tucked away in the country, it is within forty minutes' drive of some of the country's top theatres and concert venues. It is a place many come to because it is a convenient stop-over point on a long journey.
